Additional information: The Well Campus Ministry was planted at the University of Arizona in December 2022 and in just a few short years, God has grown this ministry in depth of heart, community, and faith.
From the very beginning, we made a simple commitment: we would create a space of genuine welcome. A place where students can come as they are, wherever they are on their spiritual journey. A place where questions are welcomed, curiosity is encouraged, and every person is treated with care, respect, and dignity.
That commitment remains at the center of everything we do.
Today, The Well is made up of a diverse community of University of Arizona students from many backgrounds and at many different stages of faith. Some are deeply rooted in their Christian walk, others are exploring faith for the first time, and many are somewhere in between. Because of this, we intentionally plan every gathering, conversation, and event so that anyone can walk in and feel comfortable participating.
Students often describe The Well as their “safe space.” Nothing brings us more joy than hearing that. Our hope is that every student who enters finds a community marked by warmth, thoughtful conversation, and authentic friendship.
At the heart of The Well is the good news of God’s grace available to all in Jesus Christ. Together we seek to thoughtfully and honestly explore that grace, trusting that when people encounter it, lives are blessed and God is glorified.
The Well deeply appreciates our roots in the Church of Christ heritage, but is comprised of students coming from many different backgrounds.
