Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies Online

The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at York University is an interdepartmental program allowing students to build their own degree plan based on interests that may not be met by any single major or department. Interdisciplinary Studies majors combine primary and secondary concentrations with their electives to create a tailor-made degree. The primary and secondary areas of concentration must be taken from different departments. Students accepted into this degree program will be assigned to an adviser from their primary area of concentration.

Using a researched-based methodology, you can acquire the skills necessary to create an effective and welcoming teaching-learning environment.

This program was designed for leaders in diverse settings, such as business, healthcare, non-profits, churches, schools, law enforcement, agricultural technology and bio-tech industry, sports management/coaches, and anyone who desires to improve their leadership skills within their own organization. Students from any field will be able to make application of class concepts to their own area of leadership growth and development. This 36-hour program consists of 12 courses.
