Refer a Student to York University!

Do you know a student who would be a great fit for York University? As part of our efforts to involve alumni and friends in the future of the university, we would like your assistance in identifying motivated and passionate students on their academic journey.

You may have personally benefited from the faculty and staff committed to your success, or you believe in our mission to help students reach their full potential. This is why you are our best possible ambassador.

The process begins when you fill out a brief Student Referral Form.
  • Let's expand the power of a YU education. The Admissions Office will contact the recommended student and send more information on how they can start their York University journey.
  • We appreciate your efforts to recharge enrollments. Upon completion of your first referral, you will be recognized as a member of the York University Student Referral Program and [will receive a CCAA-branded portable cell phone charger to keep you powered on the go].
  • But don't stop there! You may make multiple referrals and are encouraged to reach out to family and friends during the process. Continue to talk about your YU experience or even join them for a campus visit.

Guidelines

  • New student referrals include interested dual enrollment, first-year undergraduate students, transfer students and new students to a graduate program who have not submitted an application with the YU Admissions Office.
  • York University includes online and seated classes for dual enrollment, undergraduate and graduate programs. Our admissions team can help find the right fit for each student's educational needs.

Thank you for your commitment to the future of York University! To speak with a staff member, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations(?) at ___@york.edu or (###) ###-####.
