Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is an interdepartmental program allowing students to build their own degree plans based on interests in multiple subject areas.  Interdisciplinary Studies majors create a tailor-made degree by combining concentrations from different academic disciplines, each with fewer requirements than pursuing those subject areas as full majors.  The interdisciplinary journey is more than just mastering one subject; it's about gaining a broad understanding of complex topics and connecting those ideas across different fields.

The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is an excellent option for students who are transferring credits or who wish to incorporate coursework from other college programs as part of completing their degree.

Through York University Online, students may earn concentration credits among these subject areas:

  • Bible and Ministry
  • Business Administration
  • Psychology
